Have you ever witnessed the fresh water rushing through the dry land and the land getting submerged within some moments ?
That was a evening of August ( 7-8 years back ) when I was going to Bhavnagar on my Bike. Yes, those were the days, when I used to do this often. I surprised by seeing some people standing on the Hindorna Bridge ( It’s on Dhatarwadi River, near Hindorna Village, on Rajula-Jafarabad road, now NH-8E) facing the North.
I also stopped. Below, on the river-bank, people were also standing and starring in the same direction.
Nobody was speaking anything.
River was just dry like a desert.
I also kept starring there without any idea about what’s going to happen next.
Then, out of nowhere, a shining, silver line appeared at the far end of visible river bed. And the dogs in the river started barking. There was a bright smile on the face of everyone.
Then the line got thicker and thicker, and turned in to what could be described as the thousand horses running towards us. Within seconds it reached to the bridged. People rushed to sides for the safety. Some dogs got trapped on sand-hillocks in the river beds and within moment they also submerged, drawning the dogs with the mitti-colored water.
When I turned back to opposite side, the water had crossed the visibility limit and rushing to Arabian Sea.
Never seen such event before and even after that.
Regards.
